U.S. FDA clears generic from India to treat heart ailment in dogs

The first generic of veterinary drug pimobendan, used to manage congestive heart failure in dogs due to clinical myxomatous mitral valve disease or dilated cardiomyopathy has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
